2. Purposes 
Personal data is processed for the execution of the purchase agreement. We use the information you enter during the check-out process, such as name, address and email details, to process the order. The above information is also used to communicate about the order. 
Only if the customer gives permission for this, the data will also be used for the newsletter and marketing campaigns. Personal data is never disclosed to a third party. 
As a result of the browsing activity on our store, the data of your computer internet protocol, the IP address, is automatically collected. This information helps us to understand the browser system and operating system so that it can properly interact with our website. 
You can ask at any time whether your data can be removed from the Flexmonkey address file.

3. Consent 
Consent, or permission to use your privacy data, is obtained by completing the purchase process. With this you give us an order and permission to execute the order. The data is only used for the aforementioned reason. 
If we want to use your data for other purposes, consent will be requested separately here. In other words, we will explicitly ask for permission to use your data for the newsletter and marketing purposes, and give you the opportunity to refuse this.

4. Exception 
If required by law, we will release personal data. In case of breaking of the terms of use (General Conditions, or Terms of Use), we are also entitled to use the data and to notify any third parties (eg a bailiff or police force).

5. Unsubscribe - RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN 
You can unsubscribe at any time, without giving any reason, by sending an email to info@flexmonkey.nl. Please state your name and email address in the email, and indicate whether you want to unsubscribe from the newsletter or unsubscribe completely (your entire account will then be deleted). Your data will then only be kept in the history of the administration on the invoice, only used for accounting purposes. The tax authorities oblige us to do this.

6. Security 
We take the necessary precautions and take the security of your entered privacy data very seriously. All security is provided by Shopify and together we ensure that the information is not used improperly, inadvertently shared, lost or changed. In the event that the purchase is made by credit card, the credit card data is encrypted with SSL (socket layer technology) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. Inherent to internet use and transmission of data over the internet, we cannot guarantee 100% security, but we guarantee that we handle data with the utmost care. We comply with all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

7. Use of cookies 
Flexmonkey.nl uses cookies on the website. We always place some cookies to make the website work properly, so that you can stay logged in, for example. Our website uses more cookies that are not necessary, but are useful. So you can give feedback or share messages on social media. By clicking 'Agree' you agree to the placement of these cookies. 
The list of cookies that Shopify uses: 
_session_id, a unique token, per session. This makes it possible for Shopify to store data about the use of that session (referral, navigation, pages visited, etc.). 
_shopify_visit, no data storage, actively held for 30 minutes since the last visit, so the shopify website provider can use an internal statistics tracker to record the number of visits. 
_shopify_uniq, no data storage, expires at midnight (depending on the visitor) of the next day. It counts the number of visits to a customer's webshop per individual. 
cart, a unique token, active for two weeks, collects information about the contents of your shopping cart. 
secure_session_id, a unique token, per session 
storefront_digest, a unique token, valid indefinitely. It determines whether the current user has access based on the password used. 
PREF, active for a short period, built and used by Google to track who visits the website and from where.

8. SHOPIFY 
Our web store is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide the online e-commerce platform with which we can sell our products to you and provide our service to you. 
Your data is stored in Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store this data on a secure server behind a wirefall.

9. Payment 
In case you paid by credit card, Shopify stores the credit card information. The data is encrypted by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). The data of the purchase is only stored during the purchase: only as long as is necessary to complete the payment. After the transaction is completed, this data will be deleted. 
All creditcrad purchases are PCI-DSS compliant and managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is compiled by brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. 
The requirements of PCI-DSS help to ensure the security of the processing of the credit card data by our webshop.

10. Third parties - involved parties 
In general, third parties involved by us will only collect, process and use the data that is necessary that are an extension of the agreed service, of the service and services they provide to us. However, each third party, such as a payment gateway (port), has their own privacy policy regarding the data that we are obliged to provide to them so that the requested action, service or service can be provided to us. That is why we advise you to read the privacy policies of these important third parties, so that you are fully aware of how these parties handle your personal data. 
We think it is important to mention that some of these third parties fall under a different legal system than the Netherlands. As soon as you leave this website or are referred to another party, this privacy statement no longer applies. Our user agreement (the General Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use) will then also no longer apply.

When you follow a link listed on our website, you may be directed to a website other than our webshop. We are not responsible for the handling of privacy data from other websites. We can therefore not be held responsible for undesirable matters that may occur on and / or through activities and data entered on other websites. 12. Google Analytics: 
Our webshop uses Google Analytics to help us understand how our webshop is used, such as who visits our shop and which pages are viewed. This way we can improve our website and our service.
